What to Expect
We have one worship service. Our worship service begins at 10:00am. This service typically last 90 minutes. Sovereign Grace worship services are a blend of casual and formal, contemporary and traditional.
Included in our service is an opening call to worship, a time of welcome from one of our pastors or deacons as well as weekly announcements. After this we continue to worship the Lord through the singing of psalms, hymns, spiritual songs and giving. We have a time of corporate prayer and a weekly Scripture reading that is interspersed between the singing of praises to God. All of this is to prepare our hearts for the worship of God through the teaching and preaching of His Word.. Every other week we participate in the taking of the Lord’s Supper. At the end of every worship service there is an opportunity for people to receive or pray with a pastor or church leader.
After the service is over we encourage people to continue to meet others, engage in fellowship, and enjoy being with the people of God. We also have a lunch fellowship time where this takes place. Throughout the year we have a Sunday Seminary class in which one can study in depth with a Pastor and ask questions. Pastor Mike had been teaching an Old Testament Survey Class. However, with the release of his new book Before God: The Biblical Doctrine of Prayer, he has had to take a short break. Sunday Seminary will resume soon.
